At Venturi Healthcare we continuously strive to provide the highest standard of care for our residents, as such both family member and resident feedback is extremely important to us. Here you will see a selection of the comments and feedback received from families in regard to the care their loved ones are receiving within our homes.
Mum has been a resident for four months. She settled in quickly and is very happy. She prefers Mother Redcaps to her previous care home. We have experienced a better standard of care which we feel she did not receive in the other care home. She is safe and cannot get out, she is clean, smartly dressed with her clothes changed daily. Staff spend time chatting to residents, some even when it is their break. The friendly family atmosphere makes her daily life all we could wish for. Mum enjoys the regular trips out and the activities organised such as music sessions.
My mother became a resident in September (2018) and right from day one I knew she would feel at home. My mum has dementia and has trouble with her mobility but the staff always make sure that she is included in all activities. They have looked after her brilliantly and inform me that she joins in and has other residents laughing. I cannot praise the staff highly enough including the management team. Thank you for all your help and support and for making my mum feel like one of the family.
My husband has just moved into Mother Redcaps Care Home (Nov 18). I have been made very welcome and I love it here and he is very happy. It is a home from home. I would recommend it to all my friends. I found out about the home from a friend who is a resident. She told me she loved it at Mother Redcaps Care Home and the staff are wonderful
My husband moved his mum here over a month ago after her old home closed down, she has settled right in and enjoys it there. She says the food is great and she has lots to choose from. Her room is a decent size, modern with an en suite. The main lounge is big and decorated nicely with a great view of the River Mersey. The staff are great and happy doing their daily jobs. The management are also great, nothing is too much trouble to them, we would recommend this home to anyone. Thank you.
My mums old care home told us it was closing down so after looking around various homes we found this place and it was the nicest home we had viewed, the view across the Mersey from the rooms and lounges is lovely, the care staff are very nice and nothing is too much for them, the management are very nice and very helpful and again are happy to meet any requirements that are asked, mum says the food is lovely and plenty to choose from, my mum has settled in very well and really enjoys being there.
My mother came to Mother Redcaps, in September 2013, after my sister and I realised that she could no longer live on her own. Understandably, mum was reluctant to give up the home where she had lived for almost 50 years, but she eventually adjusted to life at Mother Redcaps. She has a lovely room, with superb views of the Liverpool Waterfront. The room contains furniture from her former home and is decorated with photos of family and friends. She has her own TV and telephone. All members of staff go out of their way to assist mum in every way possible, meaning that my sister and I can relax knowing that she is being well looked-after at all times
After a bad experience elsewhere, we watched carefully here. The staff are caring in its true sense, and do all they can to make our friend happy. I can truly recommend Mother Redcaps. We call in once or twice a day and our friend is always being cared for. All her and our needs are met here. In my opinion staff are kind committed and go above and beyond to find the right treatment. They have restored our trust in the care system.
